With so many animated features under the belts of both companies, animators have been known to leave a few easter eggs or hidden details in their films in the form of subtle shoutouts.
It can be difficult to recognize these small details, but some Reddit users have spotted a few impressive ones that aren’t talked about very often. From toy story for Encantothese eagle-eyed fans spotted incredible detail.

As the title suggests, Merida is one of Disney’s bravest characters. Brave. Her story of growth and triumph is inspiring throughout the film. And while the movie had a more serious tone, there were some subtle, light-hearted details that fans noticed.
Credits in Frozen
The credits is one place fans shouldn’t skip if they’re interested in little gems, details, or Easter eggs. Aeyrie shared that at the end of the credits of Frozena hilarious clip is added by the Disney team.
He states: “The views and opinions expressed by Kristoff in the film that all men eat their own boogers are his own and do not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of The Walt Disney Company or the filmmakers. .” While most of Kristoff’s quotes have fans swooning over his admiration for Anna, his booger-eating quote is a funny second.
Luisa’s details are amazing
Luisa Madrigal was one of Disney’s most likable characters Encanto. She was strong, she was goal-oriented, and she was an amazing family member.
In one scene, Luisa is looking over her shoulder and it doesn’t seem like much, but Reddit Sophsoph12 noticed the finer details on her skin. “In Encanto you can see the hair on the back of Louisa’s neck. I thought the “React Animators” crowd would love these little details. It’s amazing how far animation has come,” they wrote.
Rapunzel and Flynn make an appearance in Frozen
Some will say that Encanto is the new Frozen because of its catchy songs and touching story of family unity. However, inflexible Frozen fans keep watching the movie to catch all the little details they may have missed on their first watch.
Golfball0921 told fans that they might catch some kind of crossover when the gates to the realm open. “Rapunzel and Flynn make an appearance after Anna opens the doors,” the Redditor wrote. Rapunzel and Flynn are from Disney Tangledbut it looks like they are in the same universe as Arendelle.

When Prince Naveen visits Dr. Facilier to have his fortune read The princess and the Frog, Fanofeverything2003 wrote: “In The princess and the Frog (2009), Naveen’s fortune card has him on a water lily in the front and frogs in the back.”
The lily pad’s significance comes later when Naveen and Tiana are turned into frogs and go on a mission to return to their normal lives. The lily pad detail was a warning that Prince Naveen missed.

The success of The world of Nemo leads to a sequel 13 years later, Finding Dory. In the sequel, Dory is on a mission to find her family as her memory improves, thanks to the help of Marlin and Nemo. While some say The world of Nemo was better than Find Doris, both have incredible stories.
In a scene from Finding Dory, Dory is stuck in a lab at the Marine Life Institute. Many-Lemon wrote: “In Finding Dory (2016) you can see Darla’s photo from The world of Nemo (2003) at the Marine Life Institute.” Darla was the daughter of the dentist of The world of Nemomeaning Darla’s parents could potentially work at the institute.
A cry to wade to Moana
Like other Disney movies, Moana is another animated film with Easter eggs hidden inside. Many-Lemon spotted another detail in the Disney fandom – The little Mermaid‘s flounder!
“In Moana (2016), you can see Flounder from The little Mermaid (1989) during “You’re Welcome”, they wrote. A little detail like this was a nice homage to another ocean-based Disney movie.
A Toy Story and Luca Crossover

The mysterious boot
In Wall-E, Wall-E proved that life was capable on Earth when he found a small plant growing in a refrigerator. To keep the plant alive, he put it in an old boot and kept it with him. Wall-E holding that boot was a big part of the movie, so fans noticed it right away when it appeared in Pixar Upside down.

Pixar University School of Dentistry
The dentist of The world of Nemo isn’t the friendliest character as he takes wild fish and keeps them as pets for his office, but he seems to have a unique upbringing.
In another small detail spotted in The world of NemoRussian_Bagel said “the dentist attended the ‘Pixar University School of Dentistry’.” The diploma can be seen on the wall of the dentist’s office.
