Paramount +, the streaming service of ViacomCBS, today released the official trailer for the second season of its original half-hour animated comedy series, Star Trek: Lower Bridges. The official trailer was revealed during the series’ Comic-Con @ Home virtual panel.

Hosted by Jerry O’Connell (Commander Jack Ransom), the Star Trek: Lower Bridges The panel featured a conversation with voice cast members Tawny Newsome (Ensign Mariner), Jack Quaid (Ensign Boimler) and Eugene Cordero (Ensign Rutherford), as well as series creator, showrunner and executive producer Mike McMahan, and a special greeting from NoÃ«l Wells (Ensign Tendi).
Developed by Emmy Award winner Mike McMahan (Rick and morty, Solar opposites), season two of Star Trek: Lower Bridges is bigger, funnier and Star Trekcooler than ever. The series is produced by Eye Animation Productions of CBS, the new animation arm of CBS Studios; Secret hiding place; and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman and Heather Kadin of Secret Hideout, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth and Katie Krentz (219 Productions) of Roddenberry Entertainment are executive producers alongside creator and showrunner Mike McMahan. Aaron Baiers (Secret Hideout), who brought McMahan to the project, is also an executive producer. Tit (Big mouth), the Emmy-winning independent animation production company, serves as the animation studio for the series.
Star Trek: Lower Bridges Streams exclusively on Paramount + in the United States and is simultaneously distributed by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group on Amazon Prime Video in Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Japan, India and more. In Canada, it airs on Bell Media’s CTV Sci-Fi channel and streams on Crave. Star Trek: Lower Decks seasons one and two will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount + in Latin America from September 2021.
