Ludwig became known in the Smash Bros community as a longtime competitor to Smash Bros. More recently however, he has become one of the biggest Twitch streamers and an organizer of some of the biggest Smash Bros. tournaments. Ludwig is set to return to streaming and he’s up to a new tournament to celebrate. The Ludwig Nick All-Stars Tournament is the second Nickelodeon All-Stars Smash event hosted among the pros of Smash Bros. Here’s what you need to know about the event:

The Ludwig Nick All-Stars tournament takes place on October 16^e. The tournament hosts the Nick All-Stars game, while it is a game on par with cartoon characters, it is actually a Smash Bros. clone. The gameplay is very similar, which suits these rosters very well. The tournament will bring together teams from Smash Bros. Ultimate and Melee, with top players from both games.

The Ludwig Nick All-Stars tournament is going to be a crewed fight tournament. It’s a format that’s used in fighting games, but it’s not the standard for Smash Bros. This tournament is a new kind of format and one that is sure to bring out some unique action among the players on board. However, a strange question is why is a Nickelodeon tie in the game? This is the second major tournament for this title in recent weeks. The game bears a surface resemblance to Smash Bros. This, combined with the overall enjoyment of playing a more casual game, touched the Smash Bros. community a bit. The marketing budget behind the title helps a bit here too!
