Smiling friends co-creators Michael Cusack and Zach Hadel just want to shop around and put smiles on your faces. They can accomplish this mission in the very laughable and definitely weird new series that premiered on Adult Swim.
Smiling friends follows the employees of a small business dedicated to bringing happiness to a bizarre but colorful world. The company consists of cynical Charlie and star employee Pim, each tasked with calling in to boost people’s morale. There’s also the meticulous Allen who keeps things in order, the mysterious Glep and the unpredictable billionaire Boss who founded the company.
Michael Cusack and Zach Hadel created the series for Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim Block. The pair provide most of the voices for the cartoon series, including Pim and Charlie, respectively.

Zach Hadel is a host and YouTuber. He is well known for his animations, in particular Masters of Hell. He is also a podcaster, in which he hosted schmucks from 2017 to 2019, and a regular member of SleepyCabin Podcast. His YouTube channel psychic pebbles has over 1.44 million subscribers.
Michael Cusack is an Australian web designer. He is well known for his Adult Swim series YOLO: Crystalline fantasy. Along with Zach Hadel, they appeared together in live broadcasts of the Twitch Adult Swim Reunion.
Smiling friends premiered last weekend on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim.
