Netflix anime keeps moving, as streamer announced feature Drifting house premiering in 2022, and updated distributions, dates and teasers for several other projects.

The TUDUM Virtual Fan Event was presented and hosted by Netflix Anime V-Tuber N-ko, featured by the Drifting house news, the next feature film project from Studio Colorido, the team behind the 2020s A mustache away.

The upcoming original story about two childhood friends who drift in a mysterious sea alongside an entire housing complex will join the heist story previously announced. Super crooks (premieres November 25, 2021) based on a story by comic book legend Mark Millar, and Brilliant: samurai soul (premieres October 12, 2021), an animated spin-off of the original Hollywood film starring Will Smith.

Netflix also gave fans a preview of some of their returning series, including Aggretsuko Season 4 (premiering in December 2021) and ULTRAMAN Season 2 (premiering in 2022), revealing a new teaser art for the long-awaited second season of ULTRAMAN, as well as key art and premiere timing for the return of Aggretesuko.

Netflix touts arrive as the streamer claims more than 120 million households have chosen to watch at least one anime on Netflix in the past year. The flagship event also celebrated the longtime fan favorite Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie. Fans joined host and actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (I have never) as she spoke to the global cast about their experience as the voice of Super Sailor Moon / Usagi Tsukino.
