A Pokemon Scarlet and Violet fan produces a cute stop-motion animation video that features Pokemon game’s new pig Lechonk.

It’s been almost a month since pokemon scarlet and Purple revealed its official release date to the public. The last pokemon scarlet and Purple The trailer shared more details about the game for the community to enjoy, and this included the introduction of new Pokémon such as Pawmi, Smoliv, and Lechonk. Now, it seems fans still can’t get over Lechonk, with one fan even dedicating an original stop-motion animation they produced to the new pig Pokemon.
The Pokemon Company has already updated the official site with most of the information revealed in the second trailer for the upcoming video game. However, the development team has yet to reveal the name of the region in pokemon scarlet and Purpleallowing fans to make their own speculations about the location and setting of the game. Nonetheless, given how prolific the community is in producing new fan art, it seems Pokemon fans thoroughly enjoy the newly introduced pocket creatures, regardless of how limited they are.
A Pokemon fan recently shared the original stop-motion animation they created which focused on the new pig Pokemon Lechonk. In Nico_Dayo’s Reddit post, their short video featured a Lechonk figurine that appeared to be hunting through bushes to pick berries. According to the artist, they created the Lechonk figurine themselves and even shared a link to their video tutorial on how they produced the figurine. Considering how certain types of pigs are used to hunt truffles in real life, Nico_Dayo likely used this as inspiration for Lechonk hunting berries for their cute stop-motion animation.
Nico_Dayo is one of many Pokemon fans who produced fan art based on the new pocket creatures from pokemon scarlet and Purple. Although most members of the community seem very much in love with Lechonk, others have also devoted equal time to Smoliv, Pawmi, and the legendary Pokemon Koraidon and Miraidon. As launch approaches and the game’s development team reveals new Pokémon to include in Gen 9, the community will likely have a lot more resources to fuel their creativity.
