Mega Mansion Hunters
10 p.m., Channel 4
“We’re literally turning the realtor upside down,” says Tyron Ash, a sports car-driving real estate mogul who likes to celebrate megabuck deals by yelling, “Fuck you!” and giving the thin-looking middle finger. We’re immersed in the rivalries of his agents, as they fight for commission, engage in Selling Sunset feuds, and dense Apprentice-style swagger. Who will ultimately succeed in selling the Surrey Mansion for £5m? Person with a sense of modesty. Alexis Duggins
we are england
7:30 p.m., BBC One
The third week of these regional films focuses on entrepreneurs: we meet photographer Conor McDonnell (Leeds), who revisits the people and places that shaped his career; and Jake (Norwich), 22, who left school with two GCSEs and now generates over £2million in his recycling business. Ali Catterall
The Bay
9 p.m., TVI
Morecambe Bay brings a new wave of drama this week, although this time it’s personal for DS Townsend, who is on the hunt for his missing son. Things get worse when her ex-husband shows up. Meanwhile, the team investigates the ever murkier murder of Saif, which currently hinges on a fixed boxing match. Henry Wong
Fasting and the Farmer
9 p.m., BBC 3
A slightly bizarre series hosted by Tom Pemberton in which tractor heads compete in wheel-spinning and diesel-spitting challenges, including the Bog Run (racing a tractor through a bog) and the X Tractor (drive an X-shaped tractor) in the hope of being crowned the UK’s top tractor team. Imagine a mix of Scrapheap Challenge, It’s A Knockout and Clarkson-era Top Gear. Phil Harrison
The Spirit of Herbert Clunkerdunk
10 p.m., BBC 2
Spencer Jones’ surreal comedy comes to an end tonight, as Herbert gleefully laughs at the announcement of a theater audition, ponders a birthday present and performs pop-rap about being followed by fluffy monsters. He dresses like a tooth, dons fake eyeballs, and plays a little pink keyboard: intensely weird business as usual, then. AD
Martin Fishback
10:15 p.m., BBC 2
Creating a really funny sitcom by transferring a Twitter profile to TV is no small feat. All the more reason to enjoy the accomplished 15-minute comic debut for the character of Martin Fishback – a brashly selfish former Colgate employee turned terrible mystery writer. It’s part exposition of his dreadful detective, Roger le Carré, part enjoyable family comedy. AD
Choice of movies
The King’s Man (Matthew Vaughn, 2021), Disney+
The first of Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman movies was an unexpected treat; a big, fun and surprisingly moving Marvel-does-Bond roller coaster. Interest waned, however, with 2017’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle, a film so inconsistent it looked like it was put together at high speed by idiots. The latest offering, The King’s Man, is something of a soft reset. It’s a prequel, retracing Ralph Fiennes’ Zelig-style journey through the events leading up to World War I. There’s a lot of fun spotting all the real-life historical figures dotting the chaos – Rhys Ifans, for his part, seems to be having the time of his life as Rasputin. A ridiculous sequel to Kingsman vs. Hitler awaits. Stuart Legacy
