The satirical series Justice Warriors sees twisted cop buddies battle mutants to protect a futuristic utopia in this satire of The Nib founder.

A sci-fi adventure full of violence, mayhem and satire is on the way, as Justice Warrior emerges from the minds of designers Ben Clarkson and Feather founder Matt Bors. Comic book publisher Ahoy Comics recently revealed the next title; a series that promises to be both outrageous humor and thoughtful commentary. The new book is not just Ahoy’s latest satire, but Bors’ return to the middle of comics.

Matt Bors will be best known to some as the founder of Feathera publication devoted topublish and promote political and non-fiction comics.“Bors is a political cartoonist himself, publishing comics on Medium before creating Feather. In April 2021, Bors retired from political cartooning to pursue other opportunities without the stress of weekly deadlines. Now, in partnership with fellow cartoonist Ben Clarkson, colorist Felipe Sobreiro and publisher Ahoy Comics, Bors returns to the world of comics with an ambitious new tale.

The comic is clearly a passion project for Bors, who spoke of his excitement at being able to channel his creative energies into the new book. His collaborator, Ben Clarkson, also aims to bring his own brand of alternative humor to justice warriors. The new title seems to be a perfect match for the offerings that Ahoy Comics distributed previously. Making waves with titles such as second coming, high sky and Snelson: comedy is dying, the publisher hasn’t been afraid to create comics that revel in the absurd while delivering poignant satire. Although a smaller publisher, Ahoy has quickly become a platform for comic book creators to deliver their messages in the format they love.
