Although Assault on Arkham is a Batman movie, many fans also saw it as a better rendition of Suicide Squad than the 2016 movie movie. And unlike other movies on Ranker’s list, this was a story. original set in Rocksteady’s famous Arkhamverse.

Taking place two years ago Arkham Asylum, it focuses on the Caped Crusader dealing with an escape to the Isle of Arkham involving Task Force X. It was a good piece of extra material for the game world, showing different in-game conflicts in a storyline fast paced. From Batman trying to thwart the Riddler, to Harley becoming a thug to free Joker, and the gradual regression of Suicide Squad’s momentum makes it an exciting watch.


6 Return of the Dark Knight, Part 1 (2012)

Another of Miller’s best works was The return of the dark knight. It’s one of the best Batman comics to influence the Dark Knight trilogy, taking an alternate and politically dystopian twist on the character. Some fans understandably think that while it’s a great story, it has been misinterpreted in terms of how Batman is perceived as a character.

However, when viewed from its intended “Elseworlds” lens, it was compelling in itself and the two-part animated adaptation did well in capturing it faithfully. The translation of Miller’s work to the screen went smoothly and Peter Weller is one of the best actors in The Dark Knight for his performance.


5 The Lego Batman Movie (2017)

Batman has long since become a character acclaimed for being a black crime superhero. But even if they are the best received, it’s nice for a character with so many different nuances of interpretation to come back to a playful camp. The brave and the daring the animated series was a good serialized take for this, but The Lego Batman movie has truly become one of the fan favorite Batman movies.

It won’t receive the same level of praise as mentioned above, but many appreciated it on its own for being a light palate cleanser. The performances of Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Cera and Rosario Dawson made for a wonderful and charming alternate experience.


4 Return of the Dark Knight Part 2 (2013)

As with the initial film, the quality of The return of the dark knight, part 2 Miller’s dystopian saga closes in a suitably explosive way. All of the perks of Part 1 have been picked up, with Weller’s performance as Batman again being a highlight. However, Part 2 had the added benefit of including Michael Emerson’s unique and disturbed take on The Joker.

Likewise, Mark Valley’s Superman was another great voice opposite Weller’s Batman. Seeing the hero’s two chaotic fights against the two in the film’s crisp art style and animation was worthy of the comics’ reputation.




3 Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (2000)

Batman beyond was the cult success no one had asked for when it came to the myth of the dark knight. DCAU in general is popular with DC fans, and Return of the Joker is one of his best films. Terry mcginnis Blade runner-Inspired by Batman was a new idea to reinvent the character and was more than capable of being the new main man.

Pitting him against Bruce Wayne’s most bitter foe has also proven to be exciting to watch. Joker’s “revival” didn’t seem cheap as the idea sounds on paper, and watching McGinnis smash the Clown Prince of Crime by pressing the right buttons was cathartic – especially since The Joker did. never knew how to play with Bruce.

Particularly popular is the adaptation of Jason Todd’s dramatic resurrection. This is in part due to the projection of a landmark event in the Batman mythology, as Jason’s death is cemented in the mind of the Caped Crusader as his greatest failure.

Likewise, the main cast of Bruce Greenwood, Jenson Ackles, and John DiMaggio as Batman, Red Hood, and Joker, respectively, were superb. The latter two were particularly strong, Ackles emotionally conveying the angry and tortured soul that is Jason Todd. Meanwhile, DiMaggio’s Joker is holding up incredibly well, even with the iteration of Mark Hamill seen as the gold standard.

Even in the face of groundbreaking Burton films and acclaimed modern Nolan classics, Mask of fantasy can is generally voted by fans as the best Batman movie. The DCAU has blackmailed its praises, but this film is its crowning achievement when it comes to the expanded works.

Like many BTAS, Fantasy is an original story that introduces a new antagonist in the form of the titular Phantasm. The plot skillfully blends a dark period piece with tragic romance, while also being a definitive example of why Batman is one of DC’s greatest heroes.
