According to responses, the most popular suggestion was the South Korean zombie animated film. Seoul Station. The film adaptation within the video game franchise has also been suggested. Dead space: fall. If you’ve played the game or are just looking for an animated space-based horror movie, don’t sleep watching it.
Other suggestions included Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and Wicked city. Others that don’t specifically fall under the Horror category but are said to be quite scary include Ichabod and M. Toad, Wizards, Fantastic Planet, Belladonna of Sadness, and Plague dogs.
There are plenty of anime horror gems to be found on streaming services, especially the anime-focused ones, so don’t miss the chance to tick off a few off the list this October.
