RUSSIA WARNS PAKISTAN

The Soviet Union has issued another urgent appeal to Pakistan to stop aggravating the situation in the Indian subcontinent. He warned Pakistan of the dire consequences if this country persisted in its current course as war in total disregard of international advice for peaceful means to resolve its problems.

The Soviet note given to Pakistan called on the Pakistani military regime to come to a political understanding with the parties fighting for the independence of East Pakistan.

YAHYA ACCUSES INDIA OF FINDING PEACE

On the same day, Mukti Bahini attacked occupying troops in the Amanganda area with mortars, killing two and wounding four among enemy soldiers.

On the night of November 25, 1971, Mukti Bahini raided the Kazipur police station and killed 16 Western Pakistani policemen and enemy irregular soldiers.

On the same day, Mukti Bahini attacked the Pakistani troop position in Madhupur, killing six enemy soldiers.
